Comprehensive Insurance Services Platform
Magnum Insurance is a company that provides insurance services, including policy management and claims processing. The platform functions both as a marketing channel and as a corporate insurance website, complete with a personal cabinet for users of their services in the USA. Designed as a B2C insurance website, the platform had to meet the demands of both direct clients and internal staff.
We rewrote the website utilizing the current design, fully reworking the code of the WordPress theme and admin panel as part of a full insurance website redesign, improving usability for both users and administrators. This project combined strategic UX improvements with custom insurance website architecture tailored specifically to the insurance industry.
Problem
The site was originally created a few years ago with minimal resources and time. For long-term growth and effective functionality as a modern insurance website design, it required a full structural and performance update. At its core, the platform needed thoughtful insurance web development focused on speed, clarity, and maintainability.
To achieve this, we didn’t need to rewrite the entire project from scratch. Instead, we executed a focused update: we removed Bootstrap and rebuilt the grid system and UI components. This reduced overall project size and significantly improved insurance website performance by boosting PageSpeed scores and frontend responsiveness.
We also implemented best practices in insurance site optimization, including image dimension specs, link titles, alt attributes, caching, compression, and modern image formats. These enhancements are part of our commitment to delivering high-performance WordPress insurance website development projects.
CMS Flexibility & Admin Improvements
In the initial version, editing site content and pages required developer involvement. We restructured the CMS to allow full content control via theme settings and Gutenberg blocks — a critical step in insurance CMS development. This allowed the internal team to update and manage the site independently, without needing technical assistance.
The upgrade greatly enhanced usability and functionality, aligning the platform with the expectations of a modern custom insurance website while preserving the integrity of a corporate insurance website.
Problem Audit first
At the start of the project, we performed a detailed infrastructure audit and codebase review to identify inefficiencies. As part of our ongoing process, we provide deep audits and consultations aimed at improving digital platforms, especially for clients in the insurance web development space.
The result of this audit was a technical document outlining clear, actionable fixes. It led to a full replacement of the existing WordPress theme with a more efficient, scalable version — improving both performance and future maintainability. These changes directly support continued insurance site optimization and faster feature delivery.
Personal Account
This part of the platform was especially underperforming. Poorly structured code and API misfires were degrading the experience for policyholders.
As a result, we completed a full insurance client cabinet redesign from the ground up. The new version enables users to manage their policies, renew coverage, update personal details, and handle payments — all from a refined and user-friendly interface designed for a B2C insurance website experience.
In the process of work we
- Performed a full technical audit
- Analyzed business and functional requirements
- Developed a scalable admin solution
- Rebuilt the WordPress template from the ground up
- Partially refreshed content pages to match the new layout
- Finalized deployment post-approval and ran thorough testing
- Delivered a fully refactored and optimized platform
Final Result
The client received a fast, scalable, and fully optimized insurance website with modern UX, a rebuilt client cabinet, and a flexible backend for long-term content and feature management. This project stands as a complete example of insurance web development and insurance CMS development tailored for modern insurance operations.
