Problem
The site was created a few years ago using everything available with minimal resources and time. From the perspective of further updating and usage of a modern product, it requires major updating.
To do this, we didn’t need to rewrite the entire project from scratch. We got this done by with a spot update. We removed the Bootstrap from the project and wrote the grid and other components without using this framework; this significantly reduced the size of the project and increased the PageSpeed score.
We also followed some PageSpeed recommendations that helped increase the rating, for example, adding dimensions to images, title attributes to links, and “alt” to images. Of course, we configured caching, compression, and the use of modern image formats.
In the initial solution, it was impossible to update the website’s content and pages without involving a developer. We reworked the site so that it could be fully edited through theme settings and Gutenberg blocks, enabling content management without any programming

Problem Audit first
At the start of the project, we run detailed analysis for client’s entire infrastructure and codebase, identifying weaknesses and areas for improvement.
As a result of the audit, the client received a comprehensive document detailing all issues found in the code and providing recommendations for their resolution.
Following the audit, it was decided to completely replace the existing WordPress template with a new one that would be maintainable and, most importantly, achieve a high Google Page Speed score.
Personal Account
This part required significant effort, as the code was unstructured, and some API requests were duplicated and functioning incorrectly.
As a result, the Personal account feature was completely rewritten, and it serves users, including managing insurance policies, editing policies, processing payments, and renewing policies.

In the process of work we
- Performed the technical audit.
- Analyzed the client’s requirements.
- Developed solution for work with content and the admin panel.
- Completely rewrote the template.
- Partially updated content pages to ensure they looked great in the new design.
- Waited for the client to finalize and complete all texts on the website.
- Performed full testing.
- Released the website.
