Magnum Insurance Website & User Cabinet
Magnum Insurance Website & User Cabinet
Magnum Insurance is a company that provides insurance services, including policy management and claims processing. The platform functions both as a marketing channel and as a corporate insurance website with a personal cabinet for users of their services in the USA.
We rewrote the website utilizing the current design, fully reworking the code of the WordPress theme and admin panel as part of a full insurance website redesign, improving usability for both users and administrators.
Problem
The site was originally created a few years ago with minimal resources and time. For long-term development and usability as a modern WordPress insurance website, it required a comprehensive update.
To achieve this, we didn’t need to rewrite the entire project from scratch. We implemented a focused update: removed Bootstrap and rewrote the grid system and UI components from the ground up. This helped reduce the overall project size and significantly improve insurance website performance through increased PageSpeed scores.
We also implemented various PageSpeed recommendations, such as adding image dimensions, title attributes to links, and alt tags. In addition, caching, compression, and the use of modern image formats were configured to support insurance site optimization.
In the initial version, editing the site content and pages required a developer’s involvement. We restructured the system to enable full content control via theme settings and Gutenberg blocks — a key part of our approach to WordPress insurance website development — allowing updates without any coding.
This upgrade allows us to significantly improve the efficiency and functionality of the site, bringing it closer to modern standards of effective corporate websites.
Problem Audit first
At the start of the project, we performed a detailed analysis of the client’s infrastructure and codebase to identify areas for improvement. As part of our ongoing services, we offer in-depth audits and consultations to improve digital platforms, especially within the insurance sector.
Based on the audit results, the client received a detailed technical document outlining all issues and providing actionable recommendations. It was then decided to completely replace the existing WordPress template with a more efficient and maintainable version that would also achieve a high PageSpeed rating — a critical part of any insurance site optimization effort.
Personal Account
This section of the platform required extensive rework due to poorly structured code and duplicate, malfunctioning API requests.
As a result, the insurance client cabinet redesign was completed from scratch. The new version includes fully functioning features for managing, editing, and renewing insurance policies, as well as handling payments — ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for users.
In the process of work we
- Performed the technical audit
- Analyzed the client’s requirements
- Developed a solution for managing content and the admin panel
- Completely rewrote the WordPress template
- Partially updated content pages to ensure consistency with the new design
- Waited for client approval and content finalization
- Performed full testing
- Released the redesigned platform
