Replacing iOS & Android Mobile app
Magnum Insurance is a company that provides insurance services, including policy management and claims processing. To serve its users, the company initially developed a basic mobile application using Ionic.
As a result of the project, we replaced the mobile application with a completely new one built on React Native. This provided a native app experience and unlocked opportunities for further improvements of the application
Problem
The mobile application used to serve customers Insurance Policies was developed with Ionic Framework without following the frameworks best practices. Also, because of technology, this app was not able to provide a native user experience. To provide this value, that was needed to perform complex refactoring (rewriting) for this app. Pretty same time would be spent to develop the app with React Native. So Our goal was to provide a new, excellent User Experience with the app.
In the process of work we:
- Conducted a technical audit of the application code.
- Analyzed the client’s requirements.
- Decided to completely replace the application.
- Formed requirements for the new application.
- Developed a new application.
- Integrated analytics and monitoring tools.
- Performed full testing.
- Released the application in both stores (Android and iOS).
Final Result
The client received a new application that had an improved user experience, increased performance, and 95 % of users had already switched to it.
