Development of Dress and Field Patch Designs for the Marine Corps
Our brave friends, who have been defending their homeland in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for over a year, approached us to design patches for the 2nd Battalion of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We were absolutely delighted when, after some time, these patches were presented to our President on the front line—and he liked them! This recognition for our work inspires us to keep moving forward and do even more!

At the initial stage, there were many different requests and restrictions regarding the symbols that could be used. To better understand the task, we created sketches featuring possible compositions and symbolism for the patches. These sketches received high praise from the marines. Some even say that the Captain was left speechless for a while, so impressive was the result. The work was completed very quickly, printed, and handed over to the brigade.

During the sketch development phase, we used the Trident of Perun as a symbol of the Ukrainian army, adapting it to a marine style that corresponds to the branch and type of troops. For alternative versions, we incorporated a sword as a symbol of warriors, stylized as a cross representing our faith in resilience, and a lighthouse serving as a guiding beacon for sailors.

Two options for the badge have been developed—a field version (in green camouflage shades) and a parade version (in bright and saturated colors).

Additionally, we developed the branding for the Book of Honor featuring this symbolism and insignia, as well as a T-shirt design for our heroes.

We are proud of our Defenders who protect our peace. Our support for their cause goes beyond financial donations; we also provide design services in which we have extensive experience. Sometimes, the most important work for us is free work. The Solar Digital team, a participant in Ukraine’s creative front, is always ready to help and create new designs for our military! We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in our victory.
