Goal

Bisect Hosting had a goal to update their website to improve its overall user experience. They wanted to make it more visually appealing, easy to use, and fast. By optimizing the website’s design, layout, and functionality, they aim to offer customers a seamless and enjoyable hosting experience. Additionally, they plan to enhance the website’s loading speed to ensure that users can access its resources quickly.

Problem

Bisect Hosting approached us with an outdated website that had issues related to its design, usability, and marketing potential. They had previously worked with a poorly performing company and didn’t get a good result, which made them uncertain about our capabilities too.

Task

The initial task was to create a design concept, which was a small part of the project, in order to evaluate our capabilities and determine whether the client wanted to continue working with us.

After that, they asked us to design and develop the entire website. Also, the client wanted integration with WHMCS.

Process

We developed a design concept and presented it to the client, who was very satisfied. Then he gave us the task to design the entire website and the UX design of the selector. The underlying idea of which is that users can choose the hosting service that suits them even if they are not very versed in this. All you need to do is specify parameters that are understandable for the gamer and the selector will show suitable hosting servers and offer a choice of server placement. The selector is essentially a handy wizard for choosing hosting services depending on the game, location, number of players, and other important parameters. Also, the selector automatically calculates the cost of services so that players can choose what suits them

We also created custom motion animations for the website.

We developed a site map and designed 17 pages of the website, including landing pages, carousels, and blocks to make it easy for users to understand what they are buying.

We suggested developing a Vue. js frontend with HTML and CSS for easy content editing. We integrated a part of the website tightly with WHMCS, which allowed us to receive data directly from WHMCS on the frontend through a separate database, which enables the client to choose from available server services and packages.

The client made some additional modifications in-house before the final release of the website on the production server.
