Analytical portal of maritime industry Stark Research v1.0
Stark Research is an analytical service of the shipping industry, especially of bulk cargo tankers. The project goal was to gather useful information about all known voyages and to build valuable analytics of the entire industry.
SOLAR Digital team developed the project from scratch. The process started with intense meetings with the customer. We collected the ideas of the client and proposed a number of our own suggestions, gave pieces of advice on technical capabilities, rationalising and implementing the project development process. We developed an extensive voyage management system with interactive charts showing statistics on industry key parameters. Having launched the MVP, we started an iterative development of the additional functionality. Then, having collected feedback from the audience, we began to create a new, large-scale 2.0 version.
