Analytical portal of maritime industry Stark Research v1.0
Stark Research is an analytical service for the shipping industry, especially bulk cargo tankers. The project aimed to gather helpful information about all known voyages and build valuable analytics for the entire industry.
The SOLAR Digital team developed the project from scratch. The process started with intense meetings with the customer. We collected the client’s ideas and proposed suggestions, advised on technical capabilities, and rationalized and implemented the project development process. We developed an extensive voyage management system with interactive charts showing statistics on industry key parameters. Having launched the MVP, we started an iterative development of the additional functionality. Then, having collected feedback from the audience, we began to create a new, large-scale 2.0 version.
