Mobile application development for tourists on a certain yacht trip SAILICA

Apart from renting yachts, SAILICA organizes unique yacht trips. One of the first was a trip to Croatian Dubrovnik. There are many locations in Dubrovnik where the legendary 'Game of Thrones' TV series was filmed: the royal gardens in Trsteno, the wall in Ston, Royal Harbour, and others scattered throughout the city. We decided to make an interactive application to help tourists find these places. It could help them find all the points and visit exciting places during the day.

We have implemented the gamification principles. Everyone collects points for visiting places. The first visitor gets more of them. Users earn points and compete during the week of yacht travel. The application automatically generates rating based on points earned. The first three winners can get valuable prizes.

The quest can work in offline mode which is very important for tourists in another country with limited Internet access.
