Mobile application design for an intelligent fragrance diffuser CINQ
CINQ is a German hardware startup that has created a device which, using smart algorithms, reads a person’s mood and mixes an appropriate scent. At the initial stage we developed the branding and promo website, after which the main development of the mobile application for the perfumery startup began. We were tasked with creating a convenient tool for managing the innovative gadget. The well-thought-out UX/UI design of the application for the perfumery brand allowed users to easily interact with the device, adjust intensity, and save their favorite combinations. In the end, the mobile application became not just a remote control, but a full-fledged digital ecosystem for customizing the atmosphere at home.
The main task of the mobile application is the quick connection of a new device and intuitive management of its settings. The quality interface design for the fragrance application made the process of customizing perfumery compositions simple and clear, giving the user complete control over the atmosphere in the room in just a few clicks. The implemented UX/UI design for the perfumery startup takes into account all the technical nuances of interaction with the hardware part of the project. Thanks to this, the application became not just a remote control, but a full-fledged digital complement to the smart device, allowing fine adjustment of the intensity and composition of individual fragrances in real time.
The device contains 5 cartridges, each of which holds a specific fragrance family. Through the intuitively clear mobile application for perfume customization, the user can adjust the concentration of each component. This mechanic allows unique olfactory compositions to be created in real time, completely changing the atmosphere of the space to match the current mood. The well-thought-out design of the application for the beauty tech startup turns the complex ingredient mixing process into an engaging creative experience. Thanks to the precise interface configuration, the application for generating individual fragrances ensures seamless connection between digital control and physical diffusion, guaranteeing an ideal result with every use.
The design is conceived for cross‑platform implementation on iOS and Android, as we share the Lean startup philosophy. At a personal meeting with the client in Kyiv, we discussed the structural features of the device in detail. This allowed us to implement a quality UX/UI design for the fragrance creation application that not only looks aesthetic but also solves specific business challenges of the startup.
Deep immersion in the project helped us create a mobile application for selecting and creating fragrances, where every interface element takes into account the technical nuances of cartridge operation. For us, design is not just a picture, but the result of strategic analysis of user interaction with an innovative perfumery gadget.
