Logotype and corporate identity for German hardware startup CINQ
CINQ is a German hardware startup that created a device which uses smart algorithms to blend fragrances according to a person’s mood. Before launching a large-scale campaign, the project needed a strong visual foundation. Our collaboration began with the task of developing a logo and brand identity for a German perfume startup that would reflect the technological nature of the idea. A well-thought-out identity for a perfume tech startup allowed CINQ to stand out in the market and emphasize the innovativeness of their product.


The device has five cartridges. Each of them contains a specific aroma set. Also, the project’s name CINQ is translated from French as five. We took the image of five cartridges as an allegory with the shape of a star for the design concept of the logo.
