Task
The client approached us with a request for a sweeping visual overhaul of their web presence. The primary challenge was developing a shipping industry website design that would transform a dated and uninspiring interface into an interactive, trend-forward product. We were determined to break away from templates, approaching the logistics and maritime transport website design from a non-conventional angle. Preparation
Drawing on our unique experience in this niche, we chose to step away from standard practice. This time, we deliberately skipped the typical stages of mood board collection and competitor analysis. Work on this bespoke project began directly with idea generation — the goal being to create the best possible maritime logistics website design through direct engagement with the client’s vision. During concept presentations, we paid close attention to the client’s emotional reactions, which helped us identify the right rational direction. Design
In search of the ideal compositional solution, our team of experts developed schematic prototypes. Once a promising direction was identified, we presented it to the client. The client appreciated the concept, but questions around the graphic elements remained unresolved. A turning point in the project had arrived. We ran into a real challenge: the graphics and visual solutions were not fully capturing the essence of the project. Despite its scale, the project is unique and challenging. The main goal is to show the inner world of The Charterers' business. Though not immediately, we got into the client’s heart and received warm feedback about our work.
